Utrecht-based MRIguidance makes BoneMRI software that creates CT-like bone images from MRI scans without radiation.
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Utrecht, Netherlands, MRIguidance was co-founded by Marijn van Stralen, Peter Seevinck and Roel Raatgever, and Rik Jacobs is CEO. Its BoneMRI software produces 3D CT-like images from standard MRI, aimed at orthopedic and spine surgeons in the United States and Europe. Hospitals and outpatient facilities license the technology under a G0566 reimbursement pathway. In October 2018 the company raised EUR 1.5 million in Seed funding led by Health Innovations.
