Founded in 2010 by Shinya Yamanaka and Kazutoshi Takahashi and based in Leiden, Netherlands, Ncardia Services B.V. was formed through the merger of Pluriomics B.V. and Axiogenesis AG. The company works with biopharmaceutical partners on stem cell drug discovery, safety pharmacology and disease modeling, using human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-derived products and services. In November 2021 it raised USD 60 million in venture funding led by investor Kiniciti.
