Founded in Japan in 2024, NovAccel is developing a compact superconducting accelerator to produce Actinium-225 for targeted alpha therapy. It also provides joint and contract research services. In May 2026, it raised JPY 1.2 billion from University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners, Fast Track Initiative, Daiwa Corporate Investment, ATOX and Yoshida Inc. to advance its production facilities.
