NPHarvest converts nitrogen and phosphorus in wastewater into fertilizer products.
Founded in 2023 and based in Finland, NPHarvest develops nutrient recycling solutions for wastewater. Its Nutrient Catchers recover nitrogen and phosphorus for use as fertilizer at biogas plants, farms, and municipal wastewater facilities. In April 2024, it raised EUR 1.3 million in seed funding led by Nordic Foodtech VC, with Stephen Industries and Maa- ja vesitekniikan tuki ry participating. The round was part of EUR 2.2 million in seed and grant funding to build its first commercially ready unit.
