Founded in 2015 in Portugal, NU-RISE makes medical sensors and research instrumentation for detecting nuclear radiation. Its implantable sensors track patient radiation exposure and help doctors assess treatment effectiveness in real time. In March 2023, it raised EUR 3.25 million led by GED Ventures, with participation from Yellowstone Holding AG, to support research and development.
