Based in San Francisco, US, and founded in 2015, Dray Technologies Inc., dba Parade is a developer and operator of a capacity management platform, intended to help freight brokerages find and book the best-suited carriers. The company was founded by Anthony Sutardja (CEO), Preet Sivia, and Tony Wu (CTO), and in February 2022, Parade raised USD 12.7 million in series A funding led by new investor Menlo Ventures, with participation from other investors. The company's Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered software platform enables logistics service providers and freight brokerage teams to manage their carrier data in a single platform, understand real-time pricing and capacity data from carriers, and match the most suitable carrier partner to each load, allowing them to make strategic load bookings, reuse and re-engage with the best carrier, reducing freight expense and increasing revenue generation. Customers can also connect with other networks like SmartHop, KeepTruckin', CloudTrucks, and DAT to expand their capacity and carrier partners. Parade intends to use the February 2022 funding to scale up its team, expand capabilities, reinforce digital adoption, and strengthen connectivity with its third-party partner ecosystem.
