Founded in 2015 and based in Hangzhou, China, Pimax develops VR headsets. Its products include the Pimax Crystal Light, Pimax Crystal Super and Pimax Dream Air, and it sells through Amazon in Japan, the US and Europe. In January 2025 Pimax raised CNY 100 million in Series C1+ funding led by new investor Zhuji Urban and Rural Investment Group, with participation from Ivy Capital. The round was part of a larger CNY 200 million Series C.
