PokeBot is developing a wheeled, dual-arm household robot for tasks such as object handover and tidying. Its approach combines embodied AI with online reinforcement learning, UMI, and video data. The project was founded in 2026 by Xu Huazhe, AP of Tsinghua University's Institute for Interdisciplinary Research, and is based in Beijing, China. In August 2026, it raised pre-series A funding co-led by Shunwei Capital and MPCi, with participation from Ubiquant Investment, Peakvest Investment, Tianjin Huakong Dianke Capital, Liepin.com, Yuan Capital, Eastern Bell Capital, Yunqi Partners, Xiaomi Group, HighLight Capital, Innoangel Fund, Zhejiang Orient Group Industry and Finance Investment, and other investors.
