Established in 2017 and based in California, US, PolyAI Limited grew out of the Machine Intelligence Lab at the University of Cambridge. Its voice AI platform plugs into contact centers, automates more than half of calls across ten languages, and handles tasks such as account management, billing and reservations for healthcare, hospitality and financial services. In December 2025 it raised USD 86 million in Series D funding co-led by Georgian, Hedosophia and Khosla Ventures, with participation from NVentures, Point72 and others.
