Founded in 2024 and based in Munich, Germany, Project Q develops software for defense and government users, combining data from multiple sources to support situational awareness and decision-making. It was co-founded by Leonard Wessendorff, Frank Christian Sprengel and Philipp Bartkowski. In July 2026, it raised EUR 15 million in Series A funding led by Expeditions, with participation from Heliad and HENSOLDT, to develop and scale its Hydris defense platform.
