Founded in 2016 by Avi Shulman, Ory Segal and Shaked Zin, PureSec Ltd. developed a cloud-based security platform for serverless applications, plus an open-source serverless security library for developers. In October 2018 the company raised USD 7 million in Series A funding led by new investor Square Peg Capital, with TLV Partners and Entrée Capital returning. In June 2019 Palo Alto Networks, Inc. acquired PureSec for approximately USD 60 million.
