Founders Christopher Klein and Franz Garsombke aimed to create efficient irrigation solutions. In October 2025, Rainbird Technologies Limited, a portfolio company of Anglia Capital Group, Force Over Mass Capital, Eden Rock Group, QVentures, Techstars, Gresham House and 500 Global, fully acquired Rachio from existing investors including Hallett Capital, Camber Creek and Amazon.
