Founded in Vienna in 2018 by Harold de Vladar and Wladimir Labeikovsky, Ribbon Biolabs develops automated synthesis of long DNA molecules. Its InfiniSynth platform uses machine learning and robotics for enzymatic DNA assembly; FullGenes produces synthetic DNA to customer specifications. In January 2022, it raised EUR 18 million in Series A funding from Hadean Ventures, Helicase Venture, Lansdowne Partners, IST cube and tecnet equity.
