Founded in 2009 in Croatia and led by founder Mate Rimac, Rimac Automobili designs and produces high-performance electric hypercars, including the Rimac Nevera and Nevera R. In April 2026 a consortium led by HOF Capital, along with BlueFive Asset Management, agreed to acquire the company from SB Investment Advisers, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Investindustrial, Porsche Ventures and others. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the company is at the Series D stage.
