Founded in 2014 and based in Beijing, China, rivamed develops smart medical management systems for hospitals, such as smart medication cabinets, intelligent narcotic drug carts, and RFID-enabled high-value consumable cabinets. Hospitals buy the systems directly, and support and upgrades may be offered through service agreements. In January 2021 it raised Series B funding led by SDIC Venture Capital, with China Creation Ventures, Delta Capital, and In Capital participating. Financial terms were not disclosed.
