Founded in 2015 in Greece, Sani/Ikos Group runs luxury resorts under the Sani Resort and Ikos Resorts brands, with over 3,450 rooms and suites in the Mediterranean region. In September 2022, GIC, together with company management, agreed to acquire the group from Oaktree Capital Management, Hermes GPE, Florac and Goldman Sachs Alternative Investment and Manager Selection (AIMS), valuing the company at EUR 2.3 billion. The group plans a five-year investment program of over EUR 900 mn.
