Founded in 2021 in Cheonan, Senic was established from SKC's silicon carbide wafer business. It manufactures 150mm SiC ingots and wafers for power semiconductors and 5G radio-frequency products, as well as 200mm products for power semiconductors. Paratus Investment acquired the business unit for KRW 70 billion in September 2021. Gab-Ryeol Koo was the company's president as of that date.
