Founded in 2024 in Gyeongsangnam-do, TextileRe develops processes to recycle waste textiles into intermediate materials and recycled PET. The company raised KRW 600 million in seed funding in October 2024 from Merry Year Social Company, Kingsley Ventures, and The Ventures. It also secured KRW 1.7 billion in technology development funds from South Korea’s SMEs and Startups Ministry and KRW 120 million for its Startup Growth Technology Development Project.
