Founded in 2014 and led by CEO Wu Tianhua, the company has raised venture funding from Huagai Capital, ZhenFund and Xiaomi. In March 2019 it raised USD 104 million in a Nasdaq offering of 13 million shares at USD 8 per share, under the ticker TIGR.
