Founded in 1937 in Brazil, Ultra SA is a holding company that manages five businesses: Ipiranga, which distributes fuels and lubricants; Oxiteno, a producer of surfactants and specialty chemicals; Ultragaz, a liquefied petroleum gas distributor; Ultracargo, a liquid bulk storage company; and Extrafarma, a pharmacy chain.
