Founded in 2022 and based in Los Altos, Universal Fuel Technologies develops Flexiforming, a process that converts feedstocks such as alcohols, LPG and renewable naphtha into sustainable aviation fuel, renewable gasoline and BTX. It serves fuel producers and operators. In July 2024, the company raised USD 2.915 mn in Seed funding led by TO VC, with participation from Alchemist Accelerator, Claire Technologies and World Star Aviation. The funding will support lab expansion in Texas and further technology development.
