Based in Misgav, Israel, and founded in 2021 by CEO Eyal Kochavi, Vessi Medical Ltd develops a cryo spray system for hollow, humid organs, mainly the bladder. The device uses surface cryotherapy to freeze and destroy abnormal tissue while aiming to preserve bladder integrity. The Vessi system includes a standalone console and a disposable transurethral catheter, and in some cases treatment can be done without anaesthesia. In February 2024 the company raised USD 16.5 million in Series A funding co-led by ALIVE, Agriline Ltd and Trendlines Group.
