Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and founded in 2015 by Moses Lo, Tessa Wijaya, Bo Chen, and Juan Gonzalez, Xendit builds digital payments infrastructure. In October 2025, Xendit, a portfolio company backed by several venture capital firms, acquired PayEx Group. The financial terms were not disclosed. Payex will operate under Xendit's local licence and be rebranded Xendit Malaysia, with plans to expand cross-border payment integration with Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
