Founded in 2020, Xook provides kiosks for offices, cafes, restaurants and other public locations that automate food preparation and delivery. The kiosks use IoT, edge computing, computer vision and deep learning to measure ingredients and prepare recipes, including Mexican and Italian cuisines. The company is based in Singapore and Bangalore, India, and was founded by Raja Natarajan and Ratul Roy. In June 2022, it raised USD 1.3 million in pre-seed funding from SRI Capital, Pitchright Ventures and Techstars Ventures, with participation from We Founder Circle and individual investors.
