Founded in 2025 and based in Shanghai, China, Zaofu Intelligence was spun out of Shanghai Hello Puhui Technology’s Robotaxi division. It develops autonomous driving software, hardware integration, safety systems, and cloud operations, and introduced its HR1 Robotaxi model in September 2025. In September 2026, it raised approximately USD 100 million led by Shanghai State-owned Capital Investment Leading Fund, with Shanghai Minhang Financial Investment Development and Cyber Creation Ventures (CCV) participating.
